The story Katha Upanished is an allegorybecause it reprsents death as a person or a being not a thing that happens to you once you are gone. It also shows how religion and death connect and what it means to be a teenager. Death is someone named yama. Where in reality he should probably be something that happens once your time had come. Death is also I think when people that are religious they think when they die they might go somewhere like heaven or hell. But Death I think is nothingness so when someone dies they become nothing. That is why I think people have a religion so they could believe that something happens after death. Nachiketa symbolizes the best thing of being a teenager because he has a lot of curiosity. Another reason that Nachiketa symbolizes a teenager so well is becuase didn't listen to Yama and teenagers are best known for not wanting to listen to anyone.
